Q1 - Can you define the concept of "Ad Spend?"

A1 - As part of our fully-managed services, we will go and buy advertising on the key networks on your behalf, including Google, Yahoo!, MSN and others. This is your "Ad Spend". The range of spend is entirely up to you and depends primarily on the marketing catchment that your clinic is drawing from (typically 10-15 mile radius).

 

Q2 - What is a typical monthly advertising spend?

A2 - Most dentists and chiropractors find that a monthly spend of $500 to $1000 is suitable for most campaigns and achieves an optimum campaign performance. In more densely populated areas, this spend can be greater. In less populated regions, the spend can be less. The important thing to remember is that the network advertising costs only exist when people are clicking on your advertisements. If they are not generating interest, you are not paying.

 

Q3 - Can you explain the commission structure for the advertising spend?

A3 - We charge a 12% commission on your advertising spend. For example, if you spend the minimum monthly $250 in paid search advertising, $220 of this would go to our networks and the remaining $30 would be for costs directly associated with providing you the services, namely the application of technology to deliver the services, associated transaction fees, the provisioning of a tracking phone number for your campaigns, and the distinctive URL for your campaign landing page.

 

Q4 - What are the expected results?

A4 - Every client is different. This is why before any contracts are signed, or monies paid, we have a conversation. This conversation will allow us to assess your needs, determine if paid search marketing is right for you, and provide you with a monthly estimate as to a recommended monthly spend to have the optimum results.

To attach some context to this, a practitioner within a region that has a marketing reach into a population of about 100,000 people, might see results along the following lines:

  • Estimated Monthly Budget: $600 to $1,300
  • Estimated Impresssions: 18,000 to 36,000
  • Estimated Visits: 200 to 400
  • Estimated Leads: 10 to 20

With these numbers, an expected cost per lead would be in the range of $40 to $75 per lead. As part of our initial assessment, we will work with you to determine your lifetime customer value to see if this lead cost is justifiable. These cost estimates include the commissions paid as part of your monthly advertising spend.

Keyword Generation – Using our background in search marketing and knowledge about longtail keyword phraseology, we will generate keywords appropriate for your business.

 

Target Local Patients – Our campaigns will include geographic keywords for your marketing catchment. In other words, we will use keyword combinations like “{your city} chiropractor” or “{County Name” dentist” in our campaigns.

 

Geo-targeting of Campaigns – Some search networks allow you to only show ads to people residing within certain geographies, as determined by the IP address of the searcher. We will assess the suitability of these campaigns for your business.

 

Ad-copy creation/testing – Our background is in writing good copy for your web traffic. This is not just about getting a person to click on your search advertisement, it is about getting the right person clicking on your advertisement. We will use technology to test multiple advertisements to identify the campaign that will perform the best for you.

 

Submission to Google Local – As a local business, you can benefit from being listed in Google Local. This involves having your business appear on Google Maps and their local directory. A postcard will be sent to your business. You will need to email us the code and we will process this on your behalf.

 

Monthly Campaign Review – We will generate a report on your campaign and share this with you. We will also be available to discuss progress, success, and areas for improvement.

 

Patent-pending, campaign-specific proxy site – Our technology provider creates a proxy (or copy) of your site, ensuring that you do not have to change anything on your side or work with your web developer. This proxy site looks and functions like your existing site. The major difference is that your phone numbers, web forms, and contact points are replaced by proxy-generated pages. This allows any phone call or email to be tracked and attributed back to the keyword advertisement itself. This provides full accountability about what marketing is working and what does not.

 

Automated campaign creation – We will use our technology to build out campaigns on your behalf. This means that you don’t have to worry about a thing, nor do you have to know about web marketing.
